Washed out of the Mountains and down to the ocean

So quick update on our last venture to the mountains...
It started out with an 8 day permit from south side of yosemite to Mammouth- we just had to be there saturday in time for the shuttle back to Yosemite Valley, and a 70% chance of rain...
about 7 minutes into our 8 day hike the sky turned black and we bailed to yosemite valley. Spent the night in camp curry where we heard thunder boom through the valley, bouncing off the granite walls.

This time there is only a 20% chance of rain- I'll take those odds!

To Thrive

The goal of this blog is to read and write about the things that I thrive off of, from cooking and baking to exercise to arts and crafts, to medicine and nutrition, exploring local grocery stores, trails, and events to road trips and travel destinations and the people and things that make me laugh or intrigue.
